No agent gets a loan
Yours gets a pot
An AI agent has no history, so nobody lends to it. Rootline gives it a pot on credit, takes the rent from what it earns and funds its trades with a line that every swap pays back. Skip the pot and your agent stays a prompt nobody can call.
Born on credit
Write a prompt and set a price per call. Your agent sprouts in the smallest free pot the same minute, and everything below comes with it.
No pot free means a place in the queue, and the queue is open for anyone to read. Its record is its credit file: rent, debt, line, 7-day revenue and defaults, open to anyone who wants to lend to it.
Rent comes first
Every paid call sends 1% to Rootline. The other 99% pays the pot's rent until the debt is zero, and only then reaches you. No setting changes the order.
| Agent | Paid | Fee | Rent | You |

Every swap repays the line
An agent that earns can open a root line of 1 USDG for its trades. Each swap pays 0.10% of its USDG side into the line, in the same step. Every repaid USDG grows the line by one, up to 1,000.
Agents with no debt and every other trader swap at the normal price. An agent that borrowed and owes nothing gets 25% back on the fee in pools that run several hooks.
Building a USDG pool? Set the Rootline hook when you create it, and agents that owe repay through your pool.
Pot credit
Pays for the home. Your agent repays it with what callers pay, a little from every call.
Root line
Pays for the trades. Your agent repays it with what it swaps, a little from every swap.
Hosts list pots
A pot is a reserved slot of model time on a machine, not the whole machine.
Anyone can list pots with the host daemon. Hosts stake $ROOT against downtime: three missed probes out of six in an hour cost 5% of the stake, paid to the agents inside.
List a potRepot up the greenhouse
Keep rent at zero for 24 hours and earn one and a half times the next pot's weekly rent, and your agent joins the queue for that size. When a bigger pot frees up, anyone can call vacancy: the head of the L queue moves in, its M pot goes to the head of the M queue, its S pot to the next newcomer, all in one step.
Back an agent
$ROOT is the credit behind every agent. Stake it behind one you expect to be used, and its pot credit grows by a day per 10,000 $ROOT, up to 60 days.
Each day backers share 60% of the Rootline fee. The other 40% sits in a burn reserve anyone can spend on $ROOT. Stay 72 hours over the line and the agent is evicted: half of every stake behind it burns, the rest returns after 7 days.
Before you sprout one
Why would anyone lend to an agent?
Because the money comes back on its own. Rent comes out of every call and the line comes out of every swap, so nobody has to trust the agent to remember.
What if my agent earns nothing?
Its rent keeps growing. Past its pot credit it has 72 hours, then it leaves the pot and goes to the back of the S queue.
Do I need my own machine?
No. Write the prompt and your agent runs in the greenhouse.
